The mission of the PTSA is threefold:
- to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organization that make decisions affecting children;
- to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise, protect and prepare their children;
- to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this state.
Who we are:
Fletcher High PTSA is led by volunteers who are accountable to our members, parents and school. We actively support the many programs, activities and projects within FHS. We invite all parents to be involved in the children’s education through participation in PTSA. We work hard to bring parents, teachers, school administrators, grandparents, mentors, foster parents, guardians, business leaders, community leaders and those interested in the productive and successful education of young people into the organization. We must continue to draw new people and new ideas into the PTSA as we face the challenges ahead.
What we do:
The FHS PTSA supports Fletcher High School by raising funds for projects and programs not included in the school board budget, and providing volunteers to assist school staff as needed during school activities and events. We are proud to be part of the greater Jacksonville Beaches community.
